love this blanket, I have only needed to put it at level 2 and it gets pretty warm. With winter coming I may need it to get warmer, but it has multiple heat settings so it's perfect. The only thing I wish that it had was the option to put the plug in the throw on the left and right, not just one side. The cord is long enough, I just don't want it to cross my lap if the outlet happens to be on the other side of me then where it attaches to the blanket.
